My Hometown
The majority of my life I was raised in Nicholasville, Kentucky. We never lived far from the park and you could walk the whole city in a straight line in about 2 hours. Living in such a small town gave me a sense of independence early because I didn't have to rely on anyone to get around. Nicholasville road bypassed the whole city, making it feel "off the beaten path" on the way to Danville and beyond.
Career Plans
I am currently two semesters away (after this one) from getting my bachelor's degree in Information Technology with an emphasis in software engineering. When I graduate, I plan on trying to land a job at home doing front end, back end, or full stack programming for whoever I can until I can gain enough experiance to land a better job with a bigger company and stay there until I retire. I chose this path on a whim, but I love computers, technology, and challenging myself to push the bar as high as I can. I strive to constantly learn and grow with the field, and show why human programmers and computer related job will never fully be replaced my copmuters themselves and AI technology.
My Relationship With the Internet
My relationship with the internet is a pretty simple one; I don't have much social media at all (I try to stay off of it) but stay active on Youtube either trying to learn or be mindlessly entertained. Other than that, I Play games and use it to connect with friends and family. I would say i spend a little too much time on it, but overall probably at least a couple hours a day. The most important thing about the internet is how much you can learn (both good and bad). If used incorrectly, people can access personal information and abuse your digital footprint, but on the other side of that coin there is so much to learn and benefit from it.
